Our trip to Ireland – 7ABC

Englischer Text: Amelie G., Sophie H., Ines M. (alle 7A), deutscher Text und Fotos: Prof. Bogner-Zisler

Alle 7.

Dear readers!
As we, all the students of the eleventh grade, delayed by the Coronavirus but luckily this year, went on our trip to Ireland, we want to give you some insights.
During the first five days, we spent our time in Dublin and stayed with host families, which gave us an impression of the Irish way of life. We went to language school and visited the most important sights together. Additionally, on one afternoon, our group took a trip to Howth, a peninsula near Dublin, where we saw the cliffs and watched sea seals.
On our last evening, we had an Irish dance class.
The next morning, we drove to Galway to spent our last two days there. On our way, we stopped at Clonmacnoise, a unique monastery ruin, and the famous Cliffs of Moher. Of course our group did not miss the bike tour on the Aran Islands where we were surprised by heavy rain.
For more personal insights and experiences of the students please continue reading:
